Jason composed Star Trek: Legacy as a sweeping, adaptive orchestral score spanning multiple generations of the Star Trek universe. The music was divided into interconnected thematic layers that could be introduced, removed, and recombined in response to exploration and combat, allowing the soundtrack to evolve seamlessly with the action. Distinctive themes and orchestral colors helped define the game’s legendary captains, alien factions, and epic fleet battles.
