Jason recorded a live ensemble of West African sounds: balafon, kora, woodwinds, vocals, and guitar, captured at Orb Studios in Austin, Texas, with additional recording at Jason Graves Music. The score blends propulsive action writing with organic instrumental performances, giving the game a raw, kinetic sound rooted in rhythm, texture, and human energy.
Two days of recording included Aboubacar Sylla on balafon and drums, Alseny Sylla on drums, Aicha Sylla on vocals, Kristin Naigus on woodwinds, Ibrahim Aminou on Kora, percussion, and vocals, and Marc Schaefgen on guitar.
